Laura-Jean van de Ven
Laura-Jean, 22 years old, was born in the Netherlands and is currently finishing her Bachelor in International and European Law at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. She also studied Political Science at Concordia University, Montréal. At the moment, she is particularly interested in international human rights law and the Middle East region.
In 2008, Laura-Jean had her first MUN experience at TEIMUN, as a delegate in the Human Rights Council. In 2009, she represented one of the judges in the International Court of Justice at TEIMUN and this year she will be an Advocate in the same committee.
She does not enjoy sports (so she’ll probably end up sitting on the bench during the famous TEIMUN soccer game), but would rather go out with friends.
