Cees Heere
Cees is 19 years old and is currently enrolled in the final year of his bachelor’s degree at University College Utrecht, where he reads Politics, International Relations and History. His academic interests encompass the history of diplomacy, contemporary African politics, the rise and fall of global empires and pretty much anything else that he once read a good book about.
He started doing Model United Nations at LIMUN 2008, and fell in love with it instantly; since then he has been to eight conferences, including the 2008 and 2009 editions of TEIMUN, where he represented Sudan and France respectively. In addition, he held the lengthy title of Under-Secretary General for Academic Affairs at UNISUN 2009, a picturesque conference held in Utrecht.
During those preciously few moments when he is not studying or doing MUN, Cees enjoys reading, Indian cuisine and British comedy.
